Terms of use
These terms apply to anyone who uses WrapClock, the stage timer at wrapclock.com. By opening an account or using the site you agree to them. If you have a question about them, write to us at [email protected].
The service
WrapClock lets you build a schedule for an event, show a speaker screen with a countdown on any device with a browser, and control it from your computer. We keep improving the service, so features may be added, changed or removed over time.
Your account
- Use an email address that is yours and that you can receive mail at, since that is how you reset your password.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- If you think someone else is using your account, reset your password and let us know.
Price
WrapClock is free to use during its launch period. We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, we will tell account holders in advance, and nothing will be charged without your clear agreement.
Your content
The events, schedules and messages you enter are yours. You allow us to store and display them only so that the service works for you, for example on the speaker screens of your event. You are responsible for what you enter, including the names of speakers, and for having the right to use it.
Acceptable use
Please do not use WrapClock to break the law or harm others, do not try to access accounts or events that are not yours, do not try to disrupt or overload the service, and do not use automated tools to create accounts or send large numbers of requests. We may suspend an account that does any of these.
Availability and responsibility
We work to keep WrapClock reliable. The speaker screen keeps counting even when the internet connection drops, but no online service can promise to be available all the time. The service is provided as it is. For an important event, keep a simple backup plan, such as the speaker screen open on a second device. To the extent the law allows, WrapClock is not responsible for indirect damage caused by using the service or by it being unavailable.
Ending your use
You can stop using WrapClock at any time, and delete your account and its events on the My account page, or ask us to delete them. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and we will try to tell you first.
Privacy
How we handle personal information is explained in our privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of the page, and we will tell account holders by email about significant changes. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
